GA DT's thoughts on UGA/Bama Game?

Lorenzo Washington is one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the south. His two favorite teams played on Saturday. What were his thoughts on the action?

Standout defensive tackle prospect Lorenzo Washington of Grayson High School was unable to make it to watch his two favorite teams to play in person, but he was able to catch most of the Georgia/Alabama game on television.

"I got to watch the first half of the game," said Washington. "Georgia was pretty much dominating. I had to leave at halftime, but I was getting updates on the phone from one of my friends. I heard Alabama scored off of a muffed punt and that was how the score ended. It was pretty good domination by Georgia in that game. It was good to see some of the young guys like Kregg Lumpkin come in and do well."

Has Washington gotten any closer to making a decision?

"Not really. I still need to get out and visit some teams. I want to have all the facts before I make a decision. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it anywhere next week either, because we play Stevens County, and that's like a three hour bus ride. We're going to get back so late, that I might not go anywhere else on Saturday."

There are still several teams involved for Washington, but this still appears to be a Georgia/Alabama Border War.
