After unofficial, GA FB/LB names leader

Brannan Southerland names a slight leader after an unofficial visit this weekend.

Brannan Southerland is one of the fastest rising prospects in the south this year. He is a fullback/linebacker prospect that can play either on the next level depending on a team's needs. He has taken one official visit already, has another one scheduled, and knows one more for sure after an unofficial visit this weekend.

"I've been to the Auburn/USC game, and I went to the Georgia/Alabama game this weekend," said Southerland. "I took an official visit to Notre Dame on September 5th, and I had a great visit. I got to sit down with Coach Willingham in his office, and I definitely enjoyed it. I loved the prestige of the university."

"I went to Georgia/Alabama last weekend. I had a great time. I got to sit down and talk with Coach Mark Richt for a while. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the game itself. At this point, I would consider myself a slight lean to Georgia."

"I have a visit set up with Oklahoma on November 8th, and Georgia will get a visit for sure. My last two visits will come from Florida, Florida State, and Auburn. Those are my Top 6 right now."

Southerland has 407 yards rushing on the season on only 41 attempts. He has seven rushing touchdowns and has added one through the air. He is the top fullback prospect in the state of Georgia, and he is one of the top middle linebacker prospects in the entire south.
