"Somebody has to be up tempo out there every day," said Veal.
The senior, who says that he gets his enthusiasm from his mother, will try to beat Florida for the 1st time in his career. Veal, along with fellow high-energy defensive lineman David Pollack will look to pressure Florida quarterback Chris Leak.
Leak has been up and down this season. His play had lead many critics to say that Florida is too up and down to contend for the SEC East title. But Veal disagrees.
"Florida is a good team," he said.
"People are saying that they have not been playing as well this year but they are a great team. You have to get ready for their best."
One team that has not been playing its best is Georgia.
Veal said that there are a couple of different reasons why Georgia has not played up to its lofty national ranking.
"You can blame injuries, you can blame us not preparing or whatever. We have been playing flat. We are not playing typical Georgia football," Veal said.
But getting ready for the Gators will be no problem for the Dawgs according to Veal.
"I don't think that getting enthusiastic for what's going on this Saturday is going to be a problem," said Veal.
