Georgia cracks AP Top 25

Following Georgia's 26-24 road win over Tennessee, the Bulldogs jumped back in the Associated Press (AP) top 25 poll this week, checking in at No. 19.

However, the Bulldogs (3-1, 2-1 SEC) did not return to the USA Today/ESPN Coaches top 25 poll. They received 151 votes but 171 were needed to make the top 25. Georgia was the second team out behind Colorado (164 votes).

Florida is ranked number one in this week's AP poll while Miami (Fla.) is the top team in the coaches poll.

After winning their opener back in September, the Bulldogs made their debut in the top 25 polls (25 in AP, 24 in Coaches) but then dropped out following the loss to South Carolina.

The Top Twenty Five teams in The Associated Press college football poll, with first-place votes in parentheses, records through Oct. 6, total points based on 25 points for a first place vote through one point for a 25th place vote and previous ranking:
