QB/TE Jordan Lyons is still holding strong with 6 offers.
"I like the schools that have offered me so far. Those are Georgia,
North Carolina, Stanford, Maryland, Penn State, and Michigan State. Georgia and
North Carolina want me as a TE, and all of the other schools want me at QB."
What does Lyons like about each of his favorites?
Georgia: "My dad went there, and I'm pretty familiar with
North Carolina: "It's a wonderful school with excellent
Stanford: "Their academics are great, and they're
recruiting me as a QB."
Maryland: "Again, the academics are great and
the coaching staff has answered every question I had."
Penn State: "I
got to talk with the coaches, and they think I have a good chance to play as a
Michigan State: "Smoker is leaving, and they were one of
the first schools to offer me."
Has Lyons set any official visits?
"I've set one for November 21st to Michigan State and that's all so far.
I'm going up to Penn State this weekend for an unofficial visit."
Will it take a school offering Jordan as a Quarterback to land his signature?
"Yeah I'm pretty sure it will. I want to play quarterback. I guess if
everything else fell through, I still have TE as a backup though."
Woodward Academy is 8-1 with their only loss coming to an undefeated Sandy
Creek squad in a game that they committed 5 turnovers.
