Georgia Athlete has offers at several positions

Jordan Lyons is the quarterback at Woodward Academy, and he has collected an impressive list of offers. His future destination is still in doubt, but there is little doubt in his mind as to what position he wants to play.

QB/TE Jordan Lyons is still holding strong with 6 offers.

"I like the schools that have offered me so far. Those are Georgia, North Carolina, Stanford, Maryland, Penn State, and Michigan State. Georgia and North Carolina want me as a TE, and all of the other schools want me at QB."

What does Lyons like about each of his favorites?

Georgia: "My dad went there, and I'm pretty familiar with everything."
North Carolina: "It's a wonderful school with excellent academics."
Stanford: "Their academics are great, and they're recruiting me as a QB."
Maryland: "Again, the academics are great and the coaching staff has answered every question I had."
Penn State: "I got to talk with the coaches, and they think I have a good chance to play as a sophomore."
Michigan State: "Smoker is leaving, and they were one of the first schools to offer me."

Has Lyons set any official visits?

"I've set one for November 21st to Michigan State and that's all so far. I'm going up to Penn State this weekend for an unofficial visit."

Will it take a school offering Jordan as a Quarterback to land his signature?

"Yeah I'm pretty sure it will. I want to play quarterback. I guess if everything else fell through, I still have TE as a backup though."

Woodward Academy is 8-1 with their only loss coming to an undefeated Sandy Creek squad in a game that they committed 5 turnovers.
