Waiting in the Wings

Trahern Holden played basketball at Houston County, and he was adept at running the floor and using his hands. It was hard for him to put on weight as a basketball player, but he has been able to do so now that he is in Georgia's strength and conditioning program full time.

"We're real excited about him," said strength and conditioning coach Dave Van Halanger of Holden. He may have had the longest to go when he got here, because he played basketball."
