Top GA Linebacker sets 2nd Official Visit

Jae Thaxton discusses this weekend's unofficial visit, and he sets his 2nd official visit.

Linebacker Jae Thaxton has helped his Hart County Bulldogs to a 7-3 record so far this season. Where did the Northeast GA star visit this weekend?

"I went to Georgia for their game against Auburn. It was a pretty good game. The outcome for them was really good."

What was Thaxton's favorite part?

"I really don't have a favorite part. I know that the Dawg Walk was exciting. All of the fans are just yelling at you and telling you to come to Georgia and stuff."

Did Jae talk with any coaches?

"Before the game Coach VanGorder came up to me. Then Coach Richt came and got me and took me to his office. He was talking about the game and how Auburn was really good, but that he thought they should win if they played well. He also told me that they wanted me to come there and play with them also."

Has Thaxton settled on any leaders?

"I'm still looking around at anyone really. I have a visit set to Georgia on December 19th. I have one set with Notre Dame on January 23rd, and I'll probably set one with Florida State around Christmas holidays."

Hart County is the #2 seed out of region 8-AAA. They will host Banneker High School in the first round of the state playoffs this Friday night.
