McClendon & His Buddy Line Up A Few Visits

Bryan McClendon and his good buddy, Nic Turner, line up a few visits. McClendon is the son of former Georgia player and assistant coach Willie McClendon.

Bryan McClendon is a prospect from the city of Atlanta that is starting to turn some heads. The senior from Mays High School has 13 receptions for 278 yards and 4 touchdowns in four games this season. Defensively, he plays cornerback and has 14 tackles and 2 interceptions. Together, with his best friend, Booker T. Washington standout Nicolas Turner, they will take their official visits.

"Nick and I will visit Notre Dame (12-8) and Auburn (1-11) together and we are setting up a visit to Virginia," said McClendon. "That leaves two more visits. Most schools are recruiting me as an athlete. It doesn't matter to me. I just prefer to be on the field. As you can tell, Nick and I want to go to the same school."

McClendon, 6-0 and 173 pounds, has been offered a scholarship by Auburn, Georgia Southern and Tulane. He says that Georgia and Georgia Tech are also recruiting him very hard. McClendon attended the Auburn/Mississippi State game last weekend and he will go to the Georgia Tech/Maryland game tonight. His father, Willie McClendon, played running back for the Georgia Bulldogs. Mays High School is 4-0 on the season and they take on South Atlanta this weekend.
