Quick Georgia Athlete Re-Emerges

After transferring his senior year Ronnie Jackson has picked up two offers, and has the athletic ability to add more.

Ronnie Jackson is a 5'10 160lb WR/DB prospect out of Windsor Academy in Macon, GA. Just a year ago Ronnie was a student at Warner Robins High School, where he helped quarterback the Demons to another state playoff appearance. Some unfortunate circumstances in the summertime, forced the signal caller to transfer before his senior year ever got underway. As a result, his name slipped from the radar of many recruiters around the country. That is not the case any longer...

"I just picked up my first two offers today. Central Michigan called and offered me. While I was on the phone with them, Charleston Southern called and offered as well," Jackson said.

Who else is Ronnie considering?

"I like Georgia, Wake Forest, and Duke also. Wake and Duke call me a lot, and I hope they will offer me soon too."

What triggered all of this sudden attention?

"I wish I knew," Jackson joked. "I know that I went up to a Senior Mini-Camp at Georgia, and that's the first time I spoke with the Central Michigan coaches. They got my phone number, and were on me from the jump."

How did Ronnie's season go with his new school?

"It's a lot different than Warner Robins. At Windsor, I basically had to do it all because we didn't have many guys on the roster. I ran the ball, caught the ball, played cornerback, and I even returned kicks. I think I had like 493yds receiving, 427yds rushing, 400yds in returns, and like 13 touchdowns."

What is Jackson looking for most in his final decision?

"The education has got to be the main thing. How I like the school, and what type of support they can give me. Tutors and things like that are really important."

Ronnie is fully qualified with a 2.6 GPA and a 980 SAT.
