Jeremy Lomax sounds like a man ready to make a commitment, but he's not going to pull the trigger until he gets the chance to check out some of the other schools on his list.
"No, I haven't made a decision yet," said Lomax. "I'm leaning to
Georgia right now. I'd say they are my favorite, but I'm going to Indiana this
weekend for an official visit. I'm going to NC State on December 5th. I have a
visit set up for Louisville on December 12th, and I'm going to Tennessee on
January 17th. My newest offers just came from Kentucky and Mississippi State."
Lomax has already taken an official visit to Virginia, and that would make five
official visits scheduled. What about his current leader?
"I don't know yet. I might not need to take an official visit to Georgia,
because I've been up there on a couple unofficial visits."
Lomax has the #6 ranked Lovejoy
Wildcats undefeated and playing Coffee tonight. A win by Lovejoy sets up an
interesting possible 2nd round matchup with Westside Macon.
It definitely looks like there is one team to beat for Lomax, but the race for
his signature isn't over yet. Indiana gets its shot with an official visit this
