Rivalry week in the South as Ole Miss-LSU; Auburn-Bama; and Duke North Carolina knock heads.

23. Mississippi State – Not a good team

Straight up: Arkansas

22. Wake Forest – from blowing Clemson out to getting blown out by UConn?

Straight up:

Points:

Move: -3 (mover of the week)

21. South CarolinaLou Holtz has a losing record and the Cocks extend his contract? There is something wrong with that. There's also something wrong with the Cocks giving points to the Tigers.

Straight up: Clemson

Points: Clemson (+1)

Move: -1

20. VanderbiltGeorgia fans are hoping that the Commodores can't pull an upset two weeks in a row.

Straight up: Tennessee

Points:

Move: +2

19. North Carolina – A pounding at the hands of Tech. A loss to Duke might move the Heels to 22 in the final poll.

Straight up:

Points:

Move: +2

18. Kentucky – Its not a good time to play Georgia.

Straight up: Georgia

Points:

Move: -1

17. Duke – Could a win over North Carolina keep the Blue Devils out of my bottom 5?

Straight up:

Points:

Move: +1

16. Virginia – They need a win this week against Tech to get to a nice bowl; hell to get to any bowl.

Straight up:

Points:

Move: -2

15. Alabama – Beating Auburn might make the Tide's season.

Straight up:

Points:

Move: +1

14. Georgia Tech – The Jackets need a win over Virginia to get a decent bowl game. Tech is struggling; so I like Virginia.

Straight up: Virginia

Points: Virginia (-7)

Move: +1

13. Auburn– The Tigers should beat Bama but I am sold that either of these teams are consistent enough to make me love this pick.

Straight up: Auburn

Points: Auburn (-8)

Move: -1

12. NC State – The Wolfpack could fall all the way to the Tire or Peach if they don't beat Maryland at home today.

Straight up: Maryland

Points: Maryland (+1)

Move: -2

11. Clemson – I don't understand why Clemson is the underdog in this game. Clemson is better than Carolina; they have a wining record; and they have won 3 of the last 4 in Columbia. Do they know something that I don't in Vegas? Probably.

Straight up: Clemson

Points: Clemson (+1.5)

Move: +2

10. Maryland – A big week for the 2nd place position in the ACC. I like Maryland against NC State because I think that they are a better team with their starting quarterback.

Straight up: Maryland

Points: Maryland (+1)

Move: +1

9. Arkansas – The Hogs will beat State; but not by enough to cover.

Straight up: Arkansas

Points: Mississippi State (+27.5)

Move: same

8. Florida State – Last week's win over NC State gave FSU another ACC title. That will get more difficult as the years go on. Now the Noles wait to for the Gators.

Off this week.

Move: same

7. Virginia Tech – Tech won't lose to Boston College; but they will struggle.

Straight up: Virginia Tech

Points: Boston College (+15)

Move: same

6. MiamiRutgers is terrible. Miami waits for Pitt.

Straight up: Miami

Points: Miami (-26.5)

Move: same

5. Tennessee – Can Vandy finally beat Tennessee? No.

Straight up: Tennessee

Points: Tennessee (-21)

Move: same

4. Ole MissFlorida – Struggling two weeks in a row moves you backwards in this poll. Florida got a big scare last week against South Carolina. This week Zook and company are going to beat Florida State to finish out the season.

Off this week

Move: -2

3. Ole Miss – If Eli Manning can beat Ole Miss at home I will be forced to take back everything that I ever said bad about him. I don't think that they will beat the Tigers; but if there was one game that I wish that I was at this weekend it is this one. It's a good rivalry.

Straight up: LSU

Points: Ole Miss (+6.5)

Move: +1

2. Georgia – Nobody remembers Georgia on the national level. If they can get to the SEC title game LSU had better watch out. The Dawgs probably will not cover against Kentucky because they never do.

Straight up: Georgia

Points: Kentucky (+18.5)

Move: +1

1. LSU – Game of the year this week in the SEC. I think that LSU holds on because they are too good and there is too much at stake. But the Rebels will play them tough at home and LSU won't cover the spread.

Straight up: LSU

Points: Ole Miss (+6.5)

Move: same
