Georgia Commitment Taking Visits?

Running back Thomas Brown made an early commitment to the University of Georgia back in July. We hadn't spoken to the Peach State standout in a few months. Has anything changed?

"Nope. I'm still committed to the University of Georgia, but I plan to take a couple of visits to some other places. There is a really slim chance I could change my mind, but someone would have to shock me. They would have to show me something I obviously haven't already thought about," Thomas Brown said.

Where might he be visiting?

"I may visit Florida State and LSU. I might go to Oklahoma State also. I haven't set the dates with those schools, but my official to Georgia is on January 9th."

What set the Dawgs apart from the others teams?

"The fan support, the coaches support, and the players support. Coach Garner is down to earth and really easy to get along with. I just like the school."

Some people believe that Thomas is an even better cornerback than he is a tailback. What does he think about that?

"Running back is my love. It's just more fun. If Georgia wanted to move me, I would be open to that, but I would prefer to be a runner."

How does Brown feel he fits in among the mass of young Georgia running backs?

"Obviously I feel I can compete, or I wouldn't have committed to them. I'm just gonna train hard and come in in the best shape I can possibly be in. We'll see what happens after that."

Has he spoken to any current Bulldog commitments?

"I talked to Danny Ware, A.J. (Bryant), Blake (Barnes), and Brannan (Southerland). They all seem like really cool guys. It's just unfair that A.J. and Blake get to come in early. I wish I could," Thomas joked.

Brown's Tucker Tigers have a date in the Georgia Dome this weekend for the Class-AAAA semifinals.
