Big Alabama OL Begins Official Visits

Big OL Chester Adams is emerging as possibly the top offensive line prospect in the state of Alabama this year. He has been a tough man to get a hold of throughout the recruiting process, but I caught up with him this week.

"Right now my favorites are Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Southern Miss. I don't have a favorite," Chester Adams said.

Where will the big man take his visits?

"I have Georgia this weekend, then I go to Alabama on January 16th, Auburn on January 23rd, and Southern Miss on January 30th. On my visits, I'm just looking at what people I'm going to be around, and the depth chart of each of the schools."

Did Chester grow up a fan of any one school?

"I'm an Alabama fan. I grew up an Alabama fan since I was little. That's not really a big advantage for them though, I'm just keeping my options open."

What has Chester learned from his high school coach, Mike DuBose?

"Coach DuBose taught me about class. He taught me how to be a good person, and the importance of being a good student. On the football field, he really taught me how to come off the ball, and improve my foot work."

Every school on his list has been by for an inhome so far, but the only head coaches to visit have been Tuberville (Auburn) and Bower (Southern Miss). Chester will make a signing day decision.
