5 Star OL Talks about Official Visit

Leon Hart has solidified himself amongst the top Offensive Linemen in the class of 2004. This weekend, he tripped across the South Carolina border with Georgia, to check out the Dawgs. What were his impressions?

"It went good. Fernando Velasco was my host, and he was a cool guy. We got to hang out a bit. I definitely enjoyed the visit," Leon Hart said.

What was Leon's favorite part?

"I had a chance to tour the campus. I had only been there for a game before, and I never got to see the individual buildings and stuff like that. That was good to see."

What did Hart think of Mark Richt?

"He sat me down and told me that even though they had a lot of young OL, they still needed help at tackle. He's really soft spoken, but he gets his point across anyway."

Has this visit improved upon Georgia's standing amongst his favorites?

"Well, I don't want to take anything away from the Georgia visit, but it's still going to come down to Ohio State and Auburn. Both of their offensive line situations are the best. Ohio State lost 5 Seniors up there, and Auburn had to play a walk-on in some games last year. Another reason is that both of those schools have top 25 engineering programs, and I want to be an electrical engineer."

Hart has a trip to Auburn next weekend, and he hopes to pick between the Tigers and Buckeyes soon after he returns.
