|The first two interceptions of senior linebacker Boss
Bailey's career kept Florida from breaking the game open early. When
it was not stopped by penalties and turnovers, however, Florida was
impressive in gaining 242 yards in the quarter.
Key stat: Earnest Graham, making his return from an ankle injury that forced him to miss the loss to Auburn two weeks ago, rushed for 85 yards — only one yard shy of his season high — on 11 carries.

Graham picked up seven yards on first down, followed by two stops by the Georgia defense at the 1. On fourth and goal from the 1, Grossman went up high and over the top for the score and the halftime lead.
| Georgia opened with a 16-play drive that ended at the Florida 6 when an open
Verron Haynes couldn't handle a pass from Greene on a fourth-and-2 play.
Florida responded with a 54-yard pass to Taylor Jacobs to the Georgia 12, but
Graham fumbled on the next play for Florida's fourth turnover.
Key stat: Georgia dominated possession, taking a 25-5 advantage in offensive plays in the quarter — but did not score. Through three quarters, Florida had nine
penalties for 81 yards, compared to one for five yards for Georgia.
Bennett missed a 31-yard field-goal attempt — barely wide right — to open the
quarter. Later, Georgia was stopped on a fourth-and-13 play from the Florida 36, and the Gators responded with a touchdown for the first points of the
half. Georgia executed a fake punt to keep its slim comeback hopes alive, followed by another successful fourth-down play, but soon after lost
possession when Greene fumbled when hit by Marquand Manuel.
Key stat: Florida's 584 yards is its most ever against Georgia.
