Johnson visits Gators but isn't going south

Rodney Garner and his bunch of Bulldog recruiters can not stand to lose another top recruit to the Florida Gators.

However, Georgia's prize recruit Charles Johnson is visiting Florida this weekend.

When I asked him if there were any schools that could wrestle away from Georgia, perhaps Florida, he replied: "I am going to Georgia," he said. I asked, "There's no question about it?" Johnson confirmed that he was going to Georgia with a simple word "Yep," said the five star monster.

"I want to take my visits," said Johnson of his visit to Gainesville this final weekend of the recruiting season. "I am going to keep my promise to do what I said that I would do. I said that I was going to go to Florida and so I am," he added.

Johnson plans on getting to Athens sometime this summer to get started on his schooling and athletics as fast as possible. He is the top name recruit in this year's Georgia class and Bulldog fans can rest assure that he will be in red and black. His commitment is firm.
