Mississippi Top 25

Here is one look at the Top 25 College Prospects in the State of Mississippi.

This wasn't the deepest year for talent in the state of Mississippi, but there are always good players to be found. The list has some academic casualties, but hopefully, we will get to see what these guys are capable of in two years.

Rory Johnson is my #1 prospect in the state of Mississippi. Before he hurt his knee, he had begun to harness his potential into becoming a playmaking linebacker. As a junior, Johnson had not developed the instincts at the position that the top players have. As a senior though, Johnson was still blazingly fast, and he was in the right position. Despite a torn ACL as a senior, Johnson still has the tools to project as the top player to come out of Mississippi this season.
