Tony Bell Nearing a Decision

Tony Bell is almost ready to put an end to the SEC inter-conference war for his signature. Who has made the final cut?

Tony Bell has had a hotly contested recruiting battle for his service since the very beginning. He has narrowed his list down to two SEC rivals, and it will be a BorderWar until the end for his signature. "I've narrowed it down to Georgia and Auburn," Tony Bell said.

Is Tony leaning one way or the other?

"In some cases I've been leaning to Georgia. In other other cases I've been leaning to Auburn. I think Georgia has a better location, more stable coaches, a more stable program, and they are already a pretty good team. At Auburn, I feel the most comfortable. I know a lot of people there, and I know a lot of the players."

Georgia has been trying to get Bell to go ahead and make a decision soon, because they are running very low on scholarships.

"Georgia only has like 1 or 2 spots left and I talked with them on Friday. They had been pressuring me a little bit to commit before but I wasn't ready. They thought they were going to get Anthony Reddick."

Tony has been hearing it from Tiger fans in his family about where he should attend next season. "I have a lot of uncles, aunts, and cousins who want me to go to Auburn. They all like Auburn a lot, but I have to make the decision that's best for me."

Tony will be a big pickup for one of these ancient rivals on the defensive side of the football when he announces in the very near future.
