Last Minute 5 Star Discusses Decision

Miller County star Brandon Miller is the crown jewel of the Georgia Bulldogs class. He kept fans of three different schools sweating his decision until signing day, but at 5:30pm that day, the Dawgs came out on top.

"I chose Georgia because it's a good school. Out of all the ones I visited, I thought they were the best," Brandon Miller said.

A lot of people thought Brandon was just doing a great job of acting by playing the game until the very end, but he was genuinely confused throughout the process.

"All three of the schools (Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Florida State) were even until the last day. I didn't make my decision until 2:00pm when I called Coach Callaway and told him I was going to Georgia."

What stood out about the Dawgs?

"The campus and the players on the team. The new East Campus dorms were real nice, and they are in a new building."

The versatile Miller can play any number of positions at the next level, and he will get his chance to prove himself at all of them in Athens.

"They talked to me about Wide Receiver, Linebacker, and Defensive End. I'd love to play both offense and defense. Right now, I think I'm a better Wide Receiver."

What does Brandon think his biggest asset at wideout is?

"I'm bigger than them. At least I hope I'm bigger than them," Miller joked.

Miller is certainly bigger than just about any DB on the planet, and he's smarter than a lot of them as well. He currently plans to major in Computer Science at UGA.

"I have a 3.7 GPA. I took the SAT again because I wasn't happy with my score. I was qualified, but I didn't like my score. I know I did better this time."

What is Brandon looking forward to the most when he gets to Athens?

"Just getting that degree. I'm going to try and enroll in the summer."

Miller is the definition of the student athlete, and he should be a tremendous asset to the Dawgs both on the field, and in the locker room.
