Profile 2002 - Robert Kraay (OL)

Robert Kraay is an offensive line prospect to keep an eye on for the next three months.

An offensive line prospect emerging from Metro-Atlanta is Robert Kraay from Tucker (Ga.) High School. Kraay, 6-8 and 245 pounds, plays offensive tackle.

"I think I am a pretty good pass blocker," said Kraay. "I think I have quick feet and a frame to add a lot of weight."

Kraay had a sinus infection right before the season and lost 30 pounds. He is fighting to get back the lost weight.

"I didn't go to the doctor and I tried to tough it out. After a week and a half, I got on some antibiotics. I lost a ton of weight."

Kraay believes he can get to 285 by graduation and hit the 300+ pound mark his freshman season with hard work in the weight room.

"I think I have the frame to get to 310 pounds in a year or so. I have that kind of frame."

Currently, Kraay has a scholarship offer from Bowling Green. Georgia, Tennessee Chattanooga, Furman, Air Force, Georgia Southern and East Carolina are showing a lot of interest.

"Georgia is my number one choice. I also like ECU, Georgia Southern and UTC. I am looking at education, tradition and playing time."

Kraay camped this summer at Georgia. He carries a 4.0 grade point average and has scored an 1110 SAT. Kraay has graded out at 89% on the year.
