LB Sets Four Visits

Linebacker AJ Nicholson sets four official visits. Does he have a leader?

One of the top linebacker prospects in the country this year is AJ Nicholson out of Winston-Salem (NC) Mt. Tabor. The list of schools that have offered him reads like a who's who list of top college football programs.

So far Nicholson has managed to narrow it down to six lucky finalists. "My top six in no particular order are Florida State, Miami, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia," said Nicholson. "I have already scheduled four for official visits. I will visit Texas November 10th, Miami November 23rd, Florida State January 10th, North Carolina January 18th and the remaining visit will be between Tennessee and Georgia."

Nicholson's team is 8-2 with one game remaining in the regular season, and they have already clinched a number one seed for the playoffs. Nicholson has played a huge role in the team's success with 160 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, 2 interceptions and a blocked punt.

Nicholson does not have a favorite at this point. "I will wait until after my visits to decide. The main factors in my decision will be facilities, academics and playing time. I want to be able to play early and often. I will go wherever God leads me."
