Update 2002 - Bryan Brown (QB)

Corinth, MS QB isn't concerned about stats. He's concerned about leading his team to a title.

"I couldn't even tell you what my stats are," said Bryan Brown with a chuckle. "I know a few games ago, I had something like 1600 yards and 400 yards rushing. I haven't been keeping track at all though."

Brown, 5'11 and 185 pounds (4.4 forty), is concerned about leading Corinth High School of Corinth, MS into the state playoff games. "We lost one early and it knocked us out of the rankings, but we're 9-1 and I like our chances."

Brown has not set up any visits yet, but lists his favorites "in no particular order" as Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Memphis, Southern Miss, and Notre Dame. A standout basketball player, Brown said that Ole Miss is interested in him playing both sports at the next level.

Brown currently has offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Memphis. "All of the schools but Georgia are recruiting me as a quarterback. Coach Richt from Georgia has talked to me about coming in and playing a Peter Warrick type of role. They're looking at me to maybe play some offense and defense. I don't have a favorite at all right now though."

Brown is an excellent student, and he projects as a full qualifier with a 3.0 and 19 ACT.
