Big weekend for Georgia's recruiting hopes

Georgia hosts three recruits this week, two of which would be huge additions to the red and black.

Georgia host three important players this week in terms of recruiting. Derek Morris and LA Adams are both visiting from Charlotte's North Mecklenburg High. While Adams is not nearly as highly sought after as Morris is because of injury. Tech, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Georgia are all waiting to see what happens with his ankle before taking any action on him.

Morris is a big recruit that Georgia needs and wants to sign. He is considered the number one offensive lineman in the country by The Insiders/CNN recruiting experts. Morris has a ton of schools after him including Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee. Morris and Adams are going to Georgia, Tennessee, and Ohio State with one another. It seems likely that the two will go to the same school, although that has not been confirmed.

Morris had 111 pancake blocks during the regular season in 2000. He is 6-6 345 and I doubt that he will redshirt if he comes to Athens.

Platt, Dishon
Dishon Platt
Nicknamed Pac-man by his grandmother, Dishon Platt is very highly ranked wide out from Punta Gorda, Florida's Charlotte High School. Platt is considered to be an explosive runner after the catch. He returns both punts and kickoffs and is said to be able to "do it all." He recorded 64 receptions for 1,470 yards and14 touchdowns in 2000 as a junior. He is considered the 6th best overall prospect by The Insiders/CNN. He is also considering Florida State, South Florida, LSU, and NC State. He has set a date to visit Clemson in early December. Georgia is his first visit.
