"I don't know if the players knew if they were here today or not. They knew that something was going on by the way that the camera was following me around so much. Some of them saw Herbstreit and probably put two and two together," said Richt of ESPN being at practice.
Georgia practiced in shoulder pads and shorts today and Richt said that the work was much more physical today. The Bulldogs were set to go in full pads but Richt held off of that.
"We were going to go in full pads but I didn't think that it was a very good progression from shorts to full pads," said Richt. "We may not start tackling until Friday."
He said that Georgia's injury problems this spring were not the reason that the Bulldogs were holding off on the tackling.
