Out of State QB Eyes Georgia

Gene Delle Donne is a good looking out of state QB looking at the Dawgs. He has already collected 1 scholarship offer from Duke and more should be on the way soon. With Gene residing so far from Athens, what has turned him on to Georgia?

"Georgia is a national powerhouse. I think they have one of the best passing offenses in the country, and I really like their coaches. I like the weather there a lot also," Gene Delle Donne said.

Delle Donne has become familiar with UGA by watching them on television.

"I watch them every time they're on CBS. David Greene is one of my favorite guys to watch. I love how he's in the shotgun a lot of the time. He's not flashy but he gets the job done."

The Dawgs will get their first live look at Gene when he participates at a camp at Penn State on May 15th.

"I talked to Coach Bobo on the phone, and he said that he and Coach Richt really liked my film. They don't offer quarterbacks until they see them in person, so Coach Bobo is going to come watch me at a camp, and if he likes what he sees, they will offer."

What is the Delaware standout looking for most in a school?

"I'm looking at coaches then depth charts and college atmosphere. I want to go somewhere I can play but I wouldn't mind redshirting for a few years at a big time school like Georgia."

The Dawgs main competition will come from the likes of Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame. Gene does not name a favorite at this time.

Delle Donne will attempt to make the Georgia senior camp this summer.
