Georgia Safety Looking Coast to Coast

Jeffrey Harrison is a safety out of Martin Luther King High School in Lithonia, Ga. that is getting letters and calls from coast to coast.

Jeffrey Harrison is a 6'3 195 pound safety that runs claims a 4.55 in the 40. Harrison is currently training at his high school and Competitive Edge Sports with a personal trainer to become one of the top safeties in the South.

Last year Harrison helped lead MLK deep into the playoffs. He finished the season with 120 plus tackles, nine interceptions (1 returned for TD) and 2 fumble recoveries.

What schools are recruiting Jeffrey right now?

"A lot of schools from across the country. I have gotten letters (some hand written) from Georgia, Miami, USC, Michigan, Florida State, Ohio State, Auburn, Oklahoma...basically most schools in the Big Ten, SEC, ACC, Big 12 and Pac 10."

Harrison does not have a top five or leader. "I am keeping my options open" he says.

What camps does Harrison plan to attend this summer?

Jeffrey Harrison

"I have already been to LSU last week (Saban gave Harrison co-defensive MVP) and I have been invited to these Elite Camps...Ohio State, Miami, Auburn, Georgia, Michigan and USC. I will be at the USC Camp at the end of June. Those are the only two have I set right now. After that, I am going to try and attend as many of the others that I can fit into my schedule."

Jeffrey is wide open right now. All he knows is distance won't be a factor and that he will major in financial management and minor in real estate.

Harrison has a 3.0 GPA and is awaiting scores on both the SAT and ACT.

Jeffrey does not have a formal offer right now, but I willing to go out on a limb and predict a few before summers end. Harrison's recruitment may heat up soon and when that happens be sure to check in with for the latest.
