Quick Hitters: Dennis Felton on Evans

Damon Evans isn't the only new kid on the block. Georgia has made a move to get younger leaders at all of the most visible positions. Just a few years ago Mark Richt was hired to become the head football coach. He was 40 years old when he took the job at Georgia.

Likewise, Dennis Felton was 40 when he took over the basketball program. Both of them had positive things to say about Evans.

"He'll do an incredible job," said Georgia Head Basketball Coach Dennis Felton. Felton and Evans are waiting for the NCAA to release its statement regarding Georgia's basketball program in the coming weeks. The announcement has been delayed for some time.

"He understands the business of college athletics today," continued Felton. "He knows how to work with people. He is organized and ambitious and he has a vision of what he wants this athletic program to be. He knows what the Bulldog Nation wants."
