4 Star Safety Has Dawgs as Co-Leaders

"One school that's really getting my attention is Georgia," said Dorian Munroe. "I'm really starting to think hard about them."

After a standout performance at the UM summer camp, Miami (Fla.) Coral Reef standout free safety Dorian Munroe was very high on the Hurricanes. He followed that up with an unofficial visit to the school. "I went down to watch the team work out about two weeks ago," Munroe said. "The coaches said I could take an unofficial visit any time I wanted. The players were all working real hard, getting ready for the upcoming season."

Munroe then made a trip up to New Jersey for the Rutgers camp. He talked about that experience. "That was fun," he said. "I was there for two days. There was some good competition. The linebacker from Dillard (Elijah Hodge) worked out as a safety and he looked real good. They also had a 6-4 receiver (Chris McClover) who was pretty good. I had a good time."

With several written scholarships already in hand, Munroe is still waiting on one from UM. "That's the one I want," he said. "I guess they're just gonna wait till they can watch me during my senior season."

The talented defensive back, however, is starting to look very hard at another program. "One school that's really getting my attention is Georgia," he said. "I'm really starting to think hard about them. They have offered me and I'm going up there this weekend for an unofficial visit. They're in the top 3 everywhere for the preseason so I know they're good. They produce good safeties and my brother lives in that area. I'm real high on them. If I like it, I probably won't commit but Georgia's definitely got me thinking."
