Big Back Narrows List After Camp

Jerrell Mabry, the big, strong, bruising back out of Columbus, Ga. is coming off his first camp this summer. He has narrowed his list of favorites to Five.

Jerrell Mabry attended Georgia's camp last weekend. How does he feel about his performance?

Mabry says, "I feel very good about my performance. I worked out with the running backs some and the full backs the rest of the time. I thought I did well overall."

What else did Mabry learn or see while in Athens?

"I got meet all the Coaches. I talked to them a lot, especially Coach Rucker. He told me a few things I could work on and all that kind of stuff. Outside of the camp, I got to see the new dorms, tour the campus and all that was very impressive. It was a good experience."

Does Mabry plan to camp anywhere else this summer?

"I don't think I will right now, but the only other possibility would be at Auburn this coming weekend."

Mabry is now up to thirteen offers and I don't see a commitment coming any time soon, but he does have a top five.

"My top five would be Miami, Georgia, Florida, Georgia Tech and Tennessee. All those have offered me. I already have set on my schedule to attend these games, Miami @ Georgia Tech and Georgia Tech @ Georgia. I am sure I'll see a few more than that, but those are pretty much set for now. Right now it seems I will make my decision after the season, but you never really know, it could happen any time."

Mabry is a big back in high school, who some teams see as a possible defensive tackle at the next level. Make sure you follow Mr. Mabry right here on
