German Now Open

"Georgia is pretty much out of it"

The Georgia Bulldogs were the leader from running back Kelvin German. But that has now changed.

"Georgia is pretty much out of it," said German. "They want me as a cornerback and I want to play running back. Clemson, Ole Miss and Northwestern are all recruiting me as a running back. I will visit Northwestern (12-14), Ole Miss (January) and Clemson (January) for now. I am also talking with Central Florida."

German, from Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek, is a prospect that emerged this season because he backed up JR Lemon (Stanford) last year.
