Lumpkin could be hurt

ATHENS – The injury bug has hit the Georgia Bulldogs again. This time in the form of their starting running back.

Sophomore running back Kregg Lumpkin left the field in the middle of practice today on a golf cart. He did not return for the remainder of the day. Information from Georgia Sports Medicine was not made available regarding the specifics of his injury.

"Our running backs coach just told us that he may have torn his ACL," said freshman running back Thomas Brown. "It did not look that serious when it happened, but I am not exactly sure. I hope it's not that."

"We'll have to find out tomorrow," said Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt.
