Dawgs Get RB Commitment

Ibrahim Halsey commits to the Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs picked up some much needed help in the backfield with the commitment from Ibrahim Halsey. Halsey, from Elizabeth, New Jersey, committed to Georgia on his visit this weekend.

"I went down there and really enjoyed myself," said Halsey. "I got to know the guys and I feel real good about their scheme. I had a great talk with Coach (Mark) Richt and he told me how I would be used in their offense. I am talking it over with my parents now. I am going to be a Dawg."

Halsey is a very versatile back who rushed for over 1,500 yards and had 600 yards receiving this season. He committed to Georgia over Georgia Tech, Illinois, Wisconsin and Notre Dame.
