Cooper Commits to Dawgs

Michael Cooper commits to Georgia.

"I visited Georgia this weekend and committed to them," said running back Michael Cooper. "It is close to home and my mom and sister really like them. I have been researching the Dawgs for a while and I really think they are turning the thing around. I just enjoyed everything and I can not wait to play for coach Richt."

Cooper is one of the South's hottest running back prospects. He rushed for 2,350 yards and 38 scores this season. Cooper, 6-1 and 215 pounds, plays for Sylvania (Ga.) Screven County. Cooper committed to Georgia over GT, Maryland, Florida, Clemson, and LSU.
