The school list for defensive tackle Kedric Golston is dwindling. The senior standout from Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek has narrowed down to Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn.
"I will visit Tennessee this weekend (12-14), Georgia (1-11) and Auburn (1-18). I like Florida State and Florida but they both have stopped calling me. Maybe they thought I didn't like them. Right now, I am pretty open. I know a lot about Georgia and Auburn. I am curious about Tennessee. I have never been there."
Golston, now 6-4 and 260 pounds, suffered a broken leg in a car accident back in October. He had surgery to replace a broken femur and is now rehabbing.
"I start walking in the pool today and I will begin stretches and exercises. I have a little limp but I am not on crutches. In fact, I have never worn a cast. Doctors have said everything will take 4-6 months but it will actually depend on how strong the bone is."
Golston, who lost 30 pounds of muscle in the hospital, has now gained about 10 back. Coach Richt from Georgia and three Auburn coaches made in-home visits with him on Sunday. Tennessee is slated to stop by some time this week.
