Georgia DE Kyle Moore (6-6, 249, 4.9) says Georgia leads slightly over USC, Michigan, Oklahoma and Miami. All have offered except USC. He also has offers from Florida St, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Oklahoma St and Purdue.
"Georgia is close to home and they're a really good school," says Kyle Moore of Warner Robins Houston County. "They also have a lot of good defensive speed. I like the coaching style over there and coaches (Mark) Richt and (Rodney) Garner
are good guys. I went to their game last Saturday (9/4) and they were telling me that I'm their number one guy on their list right now. I think that they were just saying that, but they did emphasize that they don't want to let me go somewhere out of state.
"I've been talking to USC lot lately, but they still have not offered. If they did, I would go there for an official visit. I've talked a lot with coach (Pete) Carroll lately and I just can't keep them out of the picture. Their defense is good--their offense is real good. The DE for them now, I think his name is (Jeff) Schweiger, had a real good game against Virginia Tech last week. They're a program that I don't know too much about but I'm getting close.
"Michigan had an awesome game last Saturday. Their defense as well as their offense has been playing good. I talked with QB coach (Scot) Loeffler and he said that they really want me there--that they need some speed for their defensive line. They're a school that's never been sorry. Charles Woodson came out of there and they've had a lot of good QBs from there that went to the NFL.
"I love Oklahoma's defense. I like how their ends collide in pass coverage and how both the DEs and the LBs stunt. It's an aggressive defense--real speedy. The coaches there like me and think I'm a good player and want to get to know me better.
"Miami produces a lot of good defensive players and their defense is good. I've been a Miami fan since I was a boy. I missed their phone call last week."
Kyle will officially visit Michigan, Miami and Maryland for sure, and says he's been to Georgia too many times to want to take an official visit there.
In his first game versus Warner Robins Kyle (7-7 tie) had one blocked field goal, two FCs, five tackles, four TFL and three assists. In game two Houston County beat Crisp County 38-16. Kyle had two sacks and two TFL.
