Headed Back to Georgia?

Dana Graydon was a highly recruited linebacker prospect out of Dougherty Hight School that signed with the Bulldogs in 2003. He is spending this year at Georgia Military Academy, and I caught up with him yesterday to discuss his future.

"I'm going back to Georgia," said Dana Graydon emphatically when asked if he knew his plans for the near future. "I'll be going back in December."

When asked what he needed to do to make sure that happened, Graydon was very clear for his plans for the fall semester.

"I just need to keep my classes straight right now. Coach VanGorder has been keeping in touch with me. I just want to get back there and try to impress the coaches and get back on the field."

Does being at Georgia Military Academy make him appreciate what he had before a little more?

"Oh man, does it? This is one of the top junior colleges in the country, and it just can't even compare to what it was like at Georgia. I can't wait to get back."

A solid 6-0 and 210 pounds, Graydon played outside linebacker in GMC's loss to Snow College yesterday. The defenses were dominating on both sides of the ball.

"I just want to keep playing aggressive. Keep making plays. That's the way they teach you to play at Georgia."

Graydon plans on joining the team for Bowl preparations in December.
