The Georgia Bulldogs have been on a roll as of late but today, running back Ibrahim Halsey has changed his mind.
"I have de-committed from Georgia and committed to Illinois," said Halsey. "I did it this afternoon. I felt Illinois was the best fit for me. It had nothing to do with the coaching staff at Georgia or the program. I think I just made the decision too quickly without really thinking it through. I apologized to Georgia. But Illinois is just the right decision to me. I am very comfortable there and I think I can contribute early there."
Halsey, from Elizabeth, New Jersey, is one of the top running back from the Northeast.
