Athens --- Georgia conducted its final pre-Christmas workout for the Music City Bowl here on Friday morning, a light 90-minute session. The Bulldogs will take on Boston College at Aldephia Coliseum on Friday, Dec. 28 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
"We worked on assignments a good bit and finished up with a little conditioning before they hit the road," head coach Mark Richt said.
Originally, the practice was slated to be in jerseys and shorts; however, cool temperatures forced a vast majority of the Bulldogs into sweatpants.
"If it's like this, it would be beautiful," Richt said. "If the wind
doesn't blow, it will be perfect. If if gets windy and chilly and wet, we haven't had a lot of that in practice or in games."
The Bulldogs were dismissed for a four-day Christmas break before meeting in Nashville on Dec. 25 for an evening workout.
Georgia, which is 8-3 on the season and ranked No. 16 and No. 19 in the latest AP and USA Today/ESPN polls, respectively, will face the Eagles (7-4) in an ESPN nationally televised game. All Georgia football games also are broadcast on NewsTalk 750 WSB and the WSB/Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network.
