Brandon Lang is working hard at Hargrave Military to get back to Georgia after previously signing with the Bulldogs in February. Lang was signed to play defensive end at Georgia, but it's at another position that he is shining currently.
"He's our leading receiver," said Hargrave Recruiting Coordinator and
receiver/tight end coach Joey Sulkowski. "He's already got about four
touchdowns for us. He's special."
Lang played some wide receiver and tight end for his Tucker team last year,
along with his defensive end responsibilities. He is still being recruited to
play defensive line at Georgia, and seeing him with the ball in his hands and
his athletic ability is an impressive site.
At close to 6-5 and 235 pounds, Lang makes a formidable target all across the
field, and he is shifty enough to make a man miss once he catches the ball. He
is also a very good blocker when he moves from the slot to the tight end

How are things going on the academic front for him?
"We just took the SAT for the first time," said Lang who is just shy

Lang and his Hargrave teammates take on East Carolina's Junior Varsity in a game
this afternoon at 4:00 PM. Lang will once again be a focal point of the offense,
especially with teammate and fellow Georgia Commitment Jamar Bryant sidelined
with cracked ribs.
Lang is a player that would have been a shoe-in for a redshirt at Georgia this
year, and now he has the ability to get a year of seasoning without burning into
his eligibility, much like another "true" freshman starter and
Hargrave Alum Danny Ware.
Brandon Lang lines up in the Slot Receiver position at last night's practice at
East Carolina. At close to 6-5 and 235 pounds, Lang is an impressive target no
matter where he lines up.
