Georgia's Top OL Visits Tennessee

Official visits have begun for U.S.Army All-American Bowl selection, Chris Scott. Scott took his first official up to Knoxville this weekend and has returned. What did this Peach State Lineman think about his trip?

"I really enjoyed the trip, I had a great time," said Chris Scott.

Scott will take you through his official visit to Tennessee

"I got there around 10am Saturday morning and met the coaches and got to talk to them a little bit. I then went through the Vol walk and really enjoyed that. I watched the game and talked to a few other recruits and had a good time. After the game, I hung out with my host, Anthony Parker (Parker is a former teammate of Scott's at Lovejoy) and some other players (Eric Ainge, Brent Shaeffer and a few others). We just talked and had a good time. Sunday morning, I got to go check out more of the campus, study hall, the facilities, and met some of their academic advisors. All of that was really nice."

What was Scott's overall opinion of his trip?

"It was great and it really set the bar really high for my upcoming visits."

Does he want to name Tennessee his leader?

"No sir, I don't want to name a leader yet. They just set the bar very high for the others. I said that about Georgia when I took an unofficial there, but now it is time for the official visits and Tennessee was great."

Scott's next visit will be at Georgia, the weekend (11/27) they play host to in-state rival, Georgia Tech. Then, he will visit LSU (12/3), Nebraska (12/10) and Florida (1/22).

Before any other visits take place, Mr. Scott will get a chance to go up against another top Peach State prospect this Friday night. Kyle Moore (who Chris hung out with a little up in Knoxville this weekend), a big time defensive end will go head to head against Scott.

On a last note, was the first official visit all what Mr. Scott thought it would be?

"It was all that and a little more." will keep you up to date on the recruitment of this elite offensive lineman out of Lovejoy, Georgia.
