New Leader and Two Visits for Georgia Athlete

WR/DB prospect Brandon King has gradually been busy narrowing his list lately, but he's now changed favorites at the top of his leader board as well.

"I like Georgia, Florida, Clemson and Maryland right now. Georgia is my favorite, and I visit there soon," Brandon King said.

Why have the Dawgs ascended back into the lead?

"It's close to home and I like the coaches and the team."

What does he like about the other schools in contention?

Florida: "I could play early there I think."
Clemson: "I like Coach Bowden and they show a lot of interest in me."
Maryland: "It's just different. It's up north and it's a place I could get away."

King has set his first two official visits.

"I visit Georgia on December 10th and I know I'm going to Clemson when they play South Carolina. I'll try and set the other ones up sometime this week."

What is he looking for in a school?

"Playing time, location, and how they can help me get my degree are really the main things. I also want a coach that's going to be there for a while."

Houston County enters the 2nd round of the AAAAA playoffs against Lovejoy this week.
