Dawgs Lead for Middle Georgia Athlete

Brandon King is a name garnering more attention as the months pass on, and the Houston County prospect has a consistent favorite.

"I like Auburn, Georgia, Clemson, Maryland and Louisville. Georgia is still the leader," Brandon King said.

Why are the Dawgs on top?

"You know, I like Coach Richt. He's a good guy. I think I could play early there, because they're losing a couple of safeties."

How about the other teams listed?

Auburn: "They have a good team and I had a good time when I went over there for the game against Georgia last week."

Clemson: "I have a real good chance to play early and it's a nice place. I know Chansi Stuckey pretty well already too."

Maryland: "Something different. It's up north and I've never been on a plane."

Louisville: "They have a program on the rise and they're going to the Big East."

What's most important to King in finding a school?

"It's the education. How I'm going to get my degree and the quality of my degree. Playing time is also important, but I'll redshirt if I need too."

King is beginning to set his official visits.

"I go to Clemson this weekend for an official visit and Georgia on December 27th."

King stole the show last Friday night in Houston County's convincing win over #1 seeded Lovejoy.

"Last week in the playoffs I had 178yds rushing, 220 total yards and 4 touchdowns. Were now 7-4-1 on the year and we go up to Parkview this week."
