Georgia's Top OL Checks Out Death Valley

Chris Scott of Lovejoy, GA is one of the most coveted offensive linemen in the country this year. Scott has already taken his first official visit to Tennessee, but this past weekend he decided to head down to Baton Rouge for an unofficial. What did Mr. Scott see during his time at LSU?

"I had a great time and saw a lot of things down here," said Chris Scott. "All the things you hear about this stadium are true. The noise, the fans, the atmosphere, it is all here. This place was crazy yesterday (Saturday) during the game."

Those are a few things he saw while on an unofficial trip to the bayou. LSU will be hosting Chris Scott in a couple weeks (12/3) for his official visit, so why this trip right before that?

"This was the only place that I am considering that I haven't been to for a game yet this year, so I wanted to check it out. It was LSU's last home game and my last opportunity to see them play, so I am glad I got to come down here."

Now this All-American lineman is putting this unofficial visit to LSU behind him and is turning his attention to this upcoming weekend when he visits Georgia officially. What does he look to get out of this visit?

"I am really just looking for my comfort level there. I have been there so many times unofficially that I have seen just about everything they have to offer. I know all the Coaches, have seen the facilities, the campus and other things, so I just want to see how comfortable I feel there in that environment."

This four star lineman will head up to Athens this weekend, then visit LSU (12/3) and Nebraska (12/10). Florida is scheduled to get his fifth official, but Scott has went into that "wait and see" mode. He hasn't ruled it out, but he will be patient and look into Florida deeper once they have a coach in place.
