South Hot 100 LB Ready to Commit?

Jamar Chaney is a linebacker out of Fort Pierce, Fla. that has had an SEC team on top of his leader board for a while now. Has that team spread the gap big enough to have commitment on his mind?

"I am getting close to making a commitment to Georgia," said Jamar Chaney. "I just took my official up there and a great visit."

What stood out to Chaney about his visit to Georgia?

"The players are all real cool guys and we had a good time. My host was Albert Hollis, but I hung out more with Josh Johnson and Antonio Sims."

"I also like how the players relate to the coaches, they seem to have a great relationship. I see players and coaches talking about everyday things, not just football. I like that."

"The game day atmosphere was great. It was a great crowd even though the weather wasn't all that good. I was really impressed with the overall trip."

Jamar Chaney has a visit set up with the Maryland Terps for December 17th, but will take that visit?

"Not sure yet. Coach Richt is coming down to meet my mom Thursday and there is a possibility of me committing that night. If I commit, I probably won't take that trip to Maryland."

The Bulldogs already have received commitments from Kade Weston and C.J. Byrd this week. Could Jamar Chaney be next?
