Big Duke is Back from Georgia

Duke Robinson, a big time offensive lineman out of Atlanta, GA drove about an hour and a half over to Athens, GA this weekend. He got over to Georgia Friday evening and talks about his visit with

"The visit went very well," said Duke Robinson.

"I got over there Friday afternoon and went to the banquet. It was awesome, they had all kind of awards and all the people knew me already. I walked in the banquet and the players and fans talked to me like I was one of them. That was real cool."

Other than the banquet, what other things stood out to Robinson during his visit?

"It was all real nice. I hung out with my host Nick Jones and a lot of other Bulldogs like, Greg Blue, Ken Shackleford, Big Max (Max Jean-Gilles), Thomas Davis, Derrick White and a lot more. I talked to about all of them. They let me know how much they want me to be a part of Georgia football."

"I toured the campus, saw the stadium, facilities, living area and academic center. All of it was top of the line. The only bad part about the trip was Coach Richt whipping me at foosball. I hung out over at his house for a while and played some pool and foosball. It was cool though. I had a good time with he and his family."

"I would have to rate this trip a perfect ten."

Did the word commitment come to the mind of Duke Robinson?

"It did, but I will wait a little longer before making my decision. Georgia and Oklahoma are still my top two. I have a visit with Coach Stoops this week and then I will see Coach Richt after the bowl game when the dead period is over."

"I still have visits with UCLA and Arkansas set for now though."

Duke Robinson seems to be getting closer to a decision, so make sure you stay tuned to for all the latest on this Georgia lineman.
