Nick Kyles, 6-2, 190 pounds of Baldwin High School, is a talented wide receiver that took an official visit this weekend. Alabama made a strong impression on the Georgia wide out and the Tide is at the top of his list.
"It went great. This was my first official visit. I would probably rate it
a 9.5 on a scale of 10."
There were several things Nick Kyles liked about his visit.
"I loved the facilities and the town. The players were all really cool.
Coach Cheese (Harbison) was great. The facilities are top of the line. I was not
able to speak with Coach Shula for very long, but when I did, he seemed like a
laid back and calm guy."
"My player host was Matt Caddell. He was really cool. He was telling me how
much they needed me and wanted me at Alabama. I also hung out with Keith Brown,
D.J. Hall, Brodie Croyle, Freddie Roach, and Tyrone Prothro. Hanging out with
all those players was my favorite part of the weekend, along with seeing the
facilities," Kyles added.
A decision for the three star wide receiver could come very soon. The Tide may
be the team to beat for his signature.
"Alabama is in my top two. They are either one or two. I just don't know
yet. I am going to sit down and weigh my options between Alabama and Georgia. I
am going to make my decision as soon as possible. It could be this week. I am
not going to say who I am leaning towards right now."
Kyles sees several similarities between Alabama and Georgia.
"Georgia has been recruiting me for a long time. They are also close to
home. When I met with Coach Richt, he is a lot like Coach Shula. The players are
also really nice, just like Alabama's players," said Kyles.
