Dewberry will commit to Dawgs next week

Darrious Dewberry, rated a five-star linebacker by, said he will commit to Georgia next week.

"It's Georgia," said the middle Georgia star. "I have my mind set on Georgia – I have my mind made up."

The Peach County star will join former teammate A.J. Bryant on the Bulldogs' roster, but not next season. He said he will enroll at Hargrave for the fall. The Bulldogs beat Auburn, Clemson, Florida, and LSU out to get him.

Dewberry will likely commit to Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt next weekend when he visits Georgia for his only official visit of the year.

Dewberry said there is nothing any of the other schools can do about his feeling for Georgia. He added that he will not visit any other schools after his visit to Athens.

In the meantime, Dewberry has gotten a membership to a gym and it striving to meet a weight goal.

"I want to get my weight up to 225 or 230," said Dewberry. Right now he is at 218.
