ABOUT GEORGIA: The Lady Bulldogs' slide down the national rankings will continue after Thursday's 71-63 loss to Kentucky. It was the Wildcats' first win over a ranked team in five years. The Lady Bulldogs were ranked as high as No. 3 early in the season. … Freshman Tasha Humphrey continues to be Georgia's most consistent scorer. She had 23 against Kentucky and leads the team at 18.3 points per game. Humphrey has led Georgia in scoring in 14 of its 18 games.

ABOUT AUBURN: Auburn has lost four straight entering today's game. … Natasha Brackett leads the Tigers in scoring with 15.7 points per game. She also grabs 4.9 rebounds, which is third-best on the team. … Marita Payne moved to second all-time in Auburn history in career blocks earlier this season. She leads the SEC this year in blocked shots with 4.4 per game.

SCOUTING REPORT: This game will be a great test not only for Georgia's psyche but also for its post players. The Lady Bulldogs clearly are struggling to find their stride coming off Thursday's stunning loss to Kentucky. At some point this year, they have to prove their team is as good as the sum of its parts. The interior players can do their part today by battling with Auburn, which leads the SEC in rebounding margin, plus-7.9 and second in blocked shots. Payne, a 6-foot-5 shot blocker, will provide UGA star freshman Tasha Humphrey a new challenge in terms of a defender who can alter every shot.
