1st Offer in for 6-5 Calhoun (Ga.) Receiver

Kristopher Durham is a big reason why Calhoun High School (Georgia) went 12-1 last season. The 6-5 and 190 pound receiver had 35 catches for 748 yards and nine touchdowns. He is a multi-sport athlete that has already picked up his first offer, and he talks about his favorite schools.

"I've gotten an offer from Duke," said Kristopher Durham. "I've been getting letters from Georgia, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Texas Tech, and Alabama. My uncle Robbie Spector played at Clemson in from 1985 through 1988."

Who are the schools that Durham is most interested in right now?

"I'm looking at Georgia, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, and Duke. Distance isn't a factor for me when it comes to making a decision."

Who does Durham compare his game to?

"I like Calvin Johnson. He just makes plays. He blocks well, runs great routes, and he's an all around good athlete."

The same can be said for Durham. He averages 12 points and nine rebounds per game on his basketball team playing small forward, and he is a standout on the track team as well. He puts in a full day on the track competing in the high jump, triple jump, 110 hurdles, and the 4x100 relay.

Durham is an excellent student that posts a 3.8 GPA and has already scored over 1,000 on the SAT. He has one offer from Duke already, and that offer will not be his last.
