Florida QB Tops The 30 Offer Mark

Tim Tebow is one of the best quarterbacks available in the class of 2006 and he has the offers to back it up. With so much on his plate, it's no surprise that he would be up in the air when it came to naming favorites so far to this point. Is he getting any closer to trimming his list now?

"Were still interested in a lot of schools. Right now it's pretty open. We've already went to visit a lot of schools this fall including Florida State, Florida, Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame. We had our ups and downs at all of them, but it's still definitely too early to narrow anything down," Tim Tebow said.

Who is recruiting Tim with the most vigor at this time?

"I'd say Florida, Alabama, Miami and Michigan are probably after me the hardest. I'm at about 30 or 31 total offers right now and they're all recruiting pretty heavily."

With the unreal statistics he posted as a junior, what does the North Floridian still feel is left for him to accomplish?

"Definitely we had a pretty successful year but we want to improve. I still want to go undefeated and win a state championship. We play Hoover (AL) which is the #1 team in the country in our first game of the year next season so that will be a good early test for us."

Has Tebow contemplated the thought of graduating early?

"I don't think I'll graduate early because I want to play my senior year of baseball. I'm pretty good at baseball, but I like football better. My future is playing football."

What will begin to separate some of these programs from their counterparts?

"I think the head coach and the quarterback coach are going to be the biggest thing because they'll be who I'm spending most of the next 4 years with of my life with."

The Nease High School standout hopes to narrow his list down by the beginning of his senior season on the gridiron.
